Triple Berry Fruit Sauce
This is great on waffles, pancakes, oatmeal or fruit salad.
4 cups triple berry frozen fruit mix (or use any combination of frozen fruit)
2 Tblsp. cornstarch or tapioca starch
1 cup water or apple juice
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Bring berries and liquid to a boil. reduce heat and simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Mix cornstarch with 3 Tblsp. water.
Add to fruit, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add salt and vanilla. Mix well and remove from heat.
Cool slightly before serving.
